Help is at hand - hosted by Batley and Spen Labour Party for all Labour Party members in Kirklees. Come along for a cup of tea and a chat and meet a former candidate and current councillors and we will help you to make sense of it all.  Here are the details:

When? 11am - Noon on Saturday 1st August

Where? Batley Old People's Centre (don't be put off by the name, it is just a meeting room!)

Address Upper Commercial Street, Batley Town Centre, WF17 5DP

Feel free to drop in for five minutes for a cup of tea and a biscuit to ask some questions, or stay for longer to talk about how to get started.   Children are welcome.  Have a look at the straightforward guide here:  Becoming a councillor.
