Caroline Flint visited Huddersfield CLP to address a public meeting about fuel poverty and climate change. She outlined Labour’s energy policies which will keep us warm, save us money and combat global warming.

Simon Bowens from Friends of the Earth (FoE) talked about their "Warm Homes" Campaign.
FoE has been established in the UK for over 40 years. It is well known in the UK for its environmental campaigns. It works with over 60 countries - predominantly in the Global South. It is these communities which face the real impacts of climate change such as hurricanes, flooding and drought. For millions of people environmental destruction is “right here, right now”.
